Ely Pride

Ely Pride is a local charity dedicated to supporting the LGBTQ+ community through events, outreach, education and community engagement. Since hosting its first Pride event in 2018, the organisation has worked to create welcoming spaces where people can connect, celebrate diversity and feel valued within the wider community.

The charity organises Ely Pride and a range of activities throughout the year, bringing together residents, community groups, local organisations and allies in a spirit of inclusion and understanding. Through these events, Ely Pride helps promote visibility, acceptance and positive representation of LGBTQ+ people in Ely and the surrounding area.

In addition to its community events, Ely Pride works to encourage conversations around diversity and inclusion, collaborating with local authorities, faith groups and community partners to build a more welcoming and supportive society for everyone. As a registered charity, its work is made possible through donations, sponsorships and the dedication of volunteers.
